Jordan skips on 100,000 mt barley tender

Jordan’s state grain agency JSSGC decided not to buy barley after its international tender for 100,000 mt closed Tuesday, sources told Agricensus, but they expect a new tender to be issued next week.

The grain agency received offers from both Ameropa and Cerealcom Dolj.

Jordan bought milling wheat at a tender which closed end of March for $222.50/mt CIF, but has been struggling over the past months to close wheat and barley tenders due to quality and payment concerns.
