Soybean crop loss in Brazil´s Rio Grande do Sul is calculated at an average 1.8 million tonnes, reducing the country´s soybean output projection to 148.4 million tonnes after the state was hit by heavy rains and flooding in early May, local consultancy Céleres said on Monday June 3.
