Tunisia’s state grain buyer Office de Cereales has bought milling wheat, durum wheat and barley at tender, market sources said Friday.

It bought 50,000 mt of 11.5% protein milling wheat from Ameropa at $226.99/mt CIF in two cargoes for shipment during May, with OdC apparently passing on a third position of 17,000 mt which they had tendered for.

The price is just below $227.49/mt that Tunisia paid at its previous tender on March 2.

OdC bought 25,000 mt of feed barley from Soufflet at $246.24/mt CIF Friday, up from the $240.19/mt it paid at the start of the month.

There was also 50,000 mt of durum wheat bought, including 25,000 mt of durum wheat from Glencore at $288.29/mt CIF for September shipment and 25,000 mt from Casillo $289.68/mt CIF for October shipment.
