US soybean crush sank by 13% in August to near 3-year low, USDA
US processors crushed 168 million bushels of soybeans in August, down by 13% from 193 million bu in July and by 0.6% from 169 million bu in August 2023, the USDA’s Monthly Fats and Oils report showed on Tuesday October 1.
