Data from the US Energy Information Administration released Wednesday has shown another increase in ethanol production and stock levels in the week up to November 17.

Supply rose 20,000 b/d to 1,074,000 b/d on the previous week, and 60,000 b/d on the same point of 2016.

Aside from modest rebalancing in PADD 3 and PADD 5, the Gulf Coast and the West Coast, the 20,000 b/d stemmed entirely from the PADD 2 Midwest region, which rose to 987,000 b/d.

Stocks stood at 21.9 million barrels, up 400,000 barrels on the previous week and up by nearly 3 million barrels on the same period of 2016.
