KOFMIA snaps up Australian milling wheat at tender at $247/mt

South Korea’s flour milling association has picked up two cargoes of Australian milling wheat after closing a tender for January and February shipment wheat, market sources have told Agricensus Thursday.

The first cargo of 30,000 mt was sold by international trade house ADM and is comprised of Australian standard wheat (ASW) sold at $245/mt FOB, and Australian hard wheat (AH) sold at $250/mt FOB.

Shipment is for January 16-February 15, 2020.

Australia-based trader Emerald Grain is believed to have sold the second 30,000 mt position, with 26,900 mt of ASW selling at $243/mt, with the balance of 3,100 mt AH sold at $250/mt.

Shipment for the second position is February 1-28.
