Wheat futures surge €9/t on potential weather, geopolitical risks

European wheat futures soared during intra-day trading on Monday April 22, with weather and geopolitical risks causing the May Euronext wheat contract to go up by €9 per tonne to €215.50 ($230) per tonne as of 16:39 CET, a high for the day.
