Tunisia buys 125,000 mt of wheat and 25,000 mt of barley

Tunisia’s state grain agency, Office de Cereales, procured 125,000 mt of soft milling wheat and 25,000 mt of feed barley as it closed its international tender Tuesday, sources said.

The lowest offer received for milling wheat was $217.85/mt CFR, while the cheapest barley offer received at $229.69/mt CFR.

Both grains were contracted with optional origin.

The agency sought five 25,000 mt shipments of milling wheat for delivery between May 15 and July 15, with the one 25,000 mt feed barley shipment to arrive between June 5 and June 25, depending on origin, sources told Agricensus.

OdC paid, at its previous tender which closed March 23, $226.99/mt CIF for 50,000 mt of 11.5% protein milling wheat and $246.24/mt CIF for 25,000 mt of barley.
